We have a number of tools, a tax incentive plan, and a grant available to assist prospective and existing companies as they consider expanding their business operations in Douglas County.
Tax Incentive Plan
We determine a company’s eligibility for participation in the Tax Incentive Plan by evaluating the anticipated number of jobs created, capital investment, and average hourly wage for employees. We use a point system to determine the Tax Incentive Schedule.
Grant
Companies who do not qualify for the Georgia QuickStart program may qualify for discretionary grant assistance, available to prospective and existing companies, to help offset costs related to workforce and talent development.
