Tigris Fulfillment Partners announces new location in Lithia Springs

NOVEMBER 29, 2017 (Lithia Springs, Georgia) – Tigris Fulfillment Partners LLC, a kitchen and bath master distribution company, will create 50-75 new jobs over the next five years in Lithia Springs. They anticipate investing up to $700,000 in machinery and equipment at their Lithia Springs location.

Tigris noted several reasons why they chose Lithia Springs, “close proximity to both FedEx and UPS hubs is critical to enabling their business to deliver on customer service commitments, Douglas County is often noted as a pro-business community and they witnessed this first hand in the initial conversations, and the location is located within an Opportunity Zone* which allows for real profitability growth as they expand.”

Dr. Romona Jackson Jones, Douglas County Board of Commission Chairman, stated “we appreciate Tigris’ choice in selecting Lithia Springs as their new location and are extremely enthusiastic about growing a relationship of collaboration to support the caliber of economic vitality and growth this superior master distribution company will bring to Douglas County.”
The Douglas County Economic Development Authority will assist Tigris with fast-track permitting, recruiting and training through workforce development efforts and partnerships, and navigating the process of the Opportunity Zone Job Tax Credit program. Chris Pumphrey, Executive Director for the Douglas County Economic Development Authority, stated “we are excited about Tigris’ decision to locate their new facility in Lithia Springs and are committed to assisting them in any capacity we can so that they are successful here and grow and thrive, thereby creating new career opportunities in our community.”
